A dynamic site is one that basically sources its content from an on-line database, rather than being displayed as individual static HTML pages. These web sites are generally used for on-line shopping, directories, forums, blogs, booking systems etc.

The main difference between brochure and dynamic web sites is that the site owner can change any of the text and images without involving the web designer.
